Residents are being consulted over plans for a mixed-use scheme, which could include more than 2,000 homes in Greenford.

Developer Greystar is proposing to create a new neighbourhood at Greenford Green, by the Grand Union Canal.

The scheme would deliver 2,060 homes for rent and sale, 5,574sq m of retail space including a supermarket, 4,552sq m of space for cafes and restaurants and 5,388sq m office space.

A new pedestrian bridge over the canal would be built, along with new streets around the neighbourhood and public spaces, squares and parks.

Plans also include around 1,000 car parking spaces and the refurbishment of Glaxo House.

A public consultation event was held on 14 May. The developer said it would carefully consider the feedback, amend its plans accordingly and then submit a planning application to Ealing Council.
